It is with great sadness that The Cobham Band announces the death of Mrs. Valerie Keeble, who past away on the evening of Friday 20th August, 2010.
Valerie was a non-playing member, treasurer, and above all, friend of the band, whose dedication and unfaltering commitment through the last 33 years will never be forgotten by those who knew her.
To her delight, Valerie in recognition of her untiring loyalty was unanimously awarded the distinction of ‘Honorary Member of The Cobham Band’ at its Annual General Meeting on Monday 21st June, 2010.
The band will be providing the music at Valerie’s funeral which is being held on Thursday 2nd September at St. Mary’s Church, Epsom Road, West Horsley, Surrey KT24 6AP.
The band’s thoughts and prayers are with Valerie’s family at this time.
